RESOLUTION NO. 81-16765
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH INTER-EXPO CORPORATION FOR THE
USE OF THE NORTH HALL AND SOUTH HALL OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON SEPTEMBER
19-29, 1982.
WHEREAS , the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
INTER-EXPO CORPORATION
•
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
NORTH HALL AND SOUTH HALL OF THE MAIMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as :
INTER-EXPO ' 82 - TRADE ONLY
(HEAVY INDUSTRIAL AND AGRICULTURE EQUIPMENT AND SERVICE
on INDUSTRIES ONLY)
SEPTEMBER 19-29, 1982
and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS , the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
•
the execution of the said lease agreement ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
describedlease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
