A RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARINGS RELATING
TO ZONING FROM OCTOBER 21, 1981, TO NOVEMBER 18, 1981,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on
July 15, 1981, adopted Resolutions Nos. 81-16722 and 81-16723, calling hearings
to consider amending the zoning ordinance so as to exclude from the PUD District
and to include in the RM-60 Medium Density District, the area bounded by 17th
Street, Lenox Court, Collins Canal and the common rear lots between Meridian
and Jefferson Avenues, and to consider the recommendation of the Planning Board
to amend the zoning ordinance so as to provide PUD sliding density scale, said
hearings scheduled to be held on October 21, 1981, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission on September 2, 1981, adopted Resolutions Nos.
81-16747 and 81-16748, calling hearings to consider amending sections of the
zoning ordinance relating to RM-60 floor-ratio areas; projections into required
yard areas, swimming pool elevations; RM24 side-yard requirements and parking
in the front yard; and to change the zoning of the Civic and Convention Center
area from MU Municipal Use to CCC Convention Center District, said hearings
scheduled to be held on October 21, 1981, and
WHEREAS, October 21, 1981, is a religious holiday, and the City Commission meeting
for that date has been cancelled,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, THAT the above-described hearings be rescheduled to November 18, 1981,
at 2:30 p.m. , 2:45 p.m. , 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. , respectively, and that the
City Clerk be directed to give notice of said hearings as required by the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 9th day of October, 1981.
