A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION
FOR THE USE OF THE SOUTH HALL, SOUTH HALL MEETING
ROOMS AND SECOND FLOOR MEETING ROOMS OF THE NORTH
HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON MAY
13-20 , 1982 .
WHEREAS , the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach ,
Florida, has been advised that
AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
SOUTH HALL, SOUTH HALL MEETING ROOMS AND SECOND FLOOR •
MEETING ROOMS OF THE NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as :
CONVENTION
on
MAY 13-20 , 1982
and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney , and
WHEREAS , the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T1iE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City , and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of November 1981
