A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA ACCEPTING WORKS OF ART
DONATED TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BASS MUSEUM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. In accordance with page 3 , paragraph 6 , of the June
6 , 1979 Amendment to Agreement between the City and the Bass Estate ,
the City Commission hereby accepts on behalf of the City the Felix
Angel drawing, as described in the accompanying Commission Memoran-
dum.
2. The City Commission on behalf of the people of the
City of Miami Beach, further expresses its gratitude to Felix Angel
for his generous donation of fine art to the Bass Museum.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of November , 1981 .

SUBJECT: DONATIONS TO CITY OF MIAMI BEACH - BASS MUSEUM '
The following works have been offered to the City of Miami Beach-
Bass Museum:
1. Drawing by Felix Angel , well -known Colombian artist,
Donor: The Artist (Appraised value $1200)
2. 3 photographs by Berenice Abbott, noted American photographer
from the series "New York in the 30's:III ."
Donor: Richard Alhadeff (Appraised value $4500)
• 3. Bronze Sculpture by Chaim Gross, entitled
"Happy Mother"
Donors: Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Brenner
Mr. and Mrs. John Madden
1 Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rittmaster
(Appraised value $75,000)
This work to be installed in the park in front of the Bass Museum.
All of the above works are by prestigious artists and would be assets
to the Bass Museum and the City.

RECOMMENDATION: Accept these generous donations.
