A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE MIAMI DOLPHINS
WHEREAS, the Miami Dolphins have consistently performed
in the highest tradition of competitive sports , winning the
love and respect of every Miamian, and
WHEREAS , their spirit , their professionalism, and their
inspiring performance has focused the spotlight on the greater
Miami area to the benefit of all residents , arousing favorable
interest and stimulating commerce , and
WHEREAS, through determination and dedication, the Miami
Dalphins have captured the imagination of people everywhere who ,
via the media , have followed the games with intense interest ,
reflecting upon the image of Greater Miami , and
WHEREAS, the Miami Dolphins have instilled in all of us a
sense of price in our County, bringing us together in a team-
spirit endeavor ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this expression of
appreciation be extended to the Miami Dolphins on behalf of
Mayor Norman Ciment and the City Commission, City Manager
Harold T. Toal , the Administration of the City of Miami Beach,
and its grateful and appreciative citizens .
