A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND
GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR USE OF MUNICIPAL
PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF BAY ROAD, NEAR 18TH
STREET, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM JANUARY 1,
1982 THROUGH DECEMBER 31 , 1982 .
WHEREAS , the General Insurance Company has requested to
lease 25 parking spaces in Municipal parking on the East side of
Bay Road near 18th Street, for a period of one year from January 1,
1982 through December 31, 1982 , for a rental fee of $250. 00 for each
of the twenty-five spaces , and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interest of the City that such Agreement be entered into by and between
the City and General Insurance Company, and
WHEREAS , the City Attorney has prepared an appropriate lease
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
the terms of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver said
lease for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
