A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, WAIVING THE GREENS FEES FOR
THE NORTH SHORE OPTIMIST CLUB TOURNAMENT AT BAYSHORE
GOLF COURSE ON APRIL 25 , 1982 .
WHEREAS, for the reasons more particularly set forth in
Commission Memorandum No. 193-82 , the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach finds it in the best interest of the City to waive
the greens fees for the North Shore Optimist Club on April 25, 1982 ;
and
WHEREAS , the City Administration recommends the City waive
said fees, and the City Attorney has approved same as to legality;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the greens fees for the
North Shore Optimist Club be waived.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of April , 1982 .

SUBJECT: WAIVER OF GOLF GREENS FEES - NORTH SHORE OPTIMIST CLUB
The North Shore Optimist Club is planning a club tournament
for April 25, 1982 , at Bayshore Golf Course for approximately
26 to 30 participants. In conjunction with this tournament
they are requesting a waiver of greens fees .
The North Shore Optimist Club is one of the largest supporters
and backers of youth activities in our community. They have
been involved with the City Administration through the
Recreation Department for many years , and with their assistance
and cooperation we have been able to provide the youth of
Miami Beach with many special programs and activities.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recommends the waiver of greens fees for
the North Shore Optimist Club on April 25 , 1982, and also
offers its thanks for their assistance and support to all
the youth of Miami Beach.
