RESOLUTION NO. 82-16971
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TO AMEND RESOLUTION
NO. 78-15707 WHICH CREATED A "CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITY AFFAIRS ADVISORY
BOARD" TO ALLOW PERSONS HAVING A PRINCIPAL
OFFICE OR PLACE OF BUSINESS IN THE CITY TO BE
MEMBERS OF THE ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach is
desirous of amending Resolution No. 78-15707 to include as members
of the Latin American Community Affairs Board those persons who have
a principal office or place of business in the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Section 2 of Resolution No.
78-15707 be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2: QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS.
Members of the Board shall be permanent residents of , or have their
principal office or place of business in the City of Miami Beach who
have knowledge of and interest in the Latin American Community of
the City of Miami Beach. Members while serving , shall not become
candidates for election to any public office.
