A RESOLUTION SUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH NEW WORLD FESTIVAL, INC. FOR
THE USE OF THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF
THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON JUNE 5-
6 , JUNE 14 , JUNE 15-18 , JUNE 19 , 1982 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
NEW WORLD FESTIVAL, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
ISRAEL PHILHARMONIC, PAUL TAYLOR DANCE COMPANY
PERFORMANCES AND REHEARSAL
, on JUNE 5-6 , June 14 , June 15-18 , June 19 , 1982
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
from by the City Attorney, and
t$Th WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
ax familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
{ therein by the City.
