A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT WITH LAURA GHISELLINI, FOR THE
RETENTION OF HER SERVICES AS SYSTEMS
ENGINEER IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIVISION
WHEREAS, the City Commision of the City of Miami Beach has
determined that it is necessary to employ the professional services of an
Independent Contractor for computer engineering services for the MIS Division
of the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, The MIS Division has been allotted and budgeted
funds through the City's General Fund for the compensation of said Independent
Contractor.
WHEREAS, The City Manager has recommended to the City
Commission that the City enter into an agreement with Laura Ghisellini for a
four and one-half months term beginning May 20, 1982, and ending September 30,
1982, at a bi-weekly salary of $971.30 for a minimum of 40 hours per week,
providing that aforesaid individual provides certain specialized professional
services to the MIS Division of the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared and
approved in form by the City Attorney setting forth the terms and conditions of
said employment; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, being familiar with the
provisions of said agreement, deems it to be in the best interests of the City and
its citizens and residents to enter into said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said

agreement with Laura Ghisellini in the name of and on behalf of the CITY, and
that the disbursing officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to disburse the monies required by the terms of said agreement from
funds of the City available for said purpose.
