A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CREATING AN AD
HOC COMMITTEE TO WORK ON THE MIAMI BEACH 68TH
BIRTHDAY JUBILEE, AND NAMING GABRIELLE NASH-
TESSLER, RUTH RONEY, MELVYNNE SOMMERS , PEGGY
GOLD, EVELYN MANSET AND ROSE GARON AS MEMBERS;
ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS TO BE MADE BY MAYOR AS MAY BE REQUIRED.
WHEREAS , the Miami Beach 67th Birthday Jubilee was a
tremendous success; and
WHEREAS , the City Commission would like to see a similar
event take place on the City' s 68th anniversary,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that an Ad Hoc Committee be
created to work on the Miami Beach 68th Birthday Jubilee and its
members shall include Gabrielle Nash-Tessler , Ruth Roney, Melvynne
Sommers, Peggy Gold , Evelyn Manset and Rose Garon. Additional appoint-
ments to be made by the Mayor as may be required.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of July , 1982 .
