RESOLUTION NO. 82-17079
ACCEPTING RESULTS OF PERSONNEL BOARD PRIMARY ELECTION,
GROUP 3 EMPLOYEES, HELD ON July 20, 1982.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk
and Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on
July 20, 1982 , for the purpose of electing a Regular
member from Group 3 of the City employees to serve on
the Personnel Board; and
WHEREAS, the said City Commission has canvassed said returns
and certificate ,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
said City that it hereby adopts the said certificate as the result
of said Primary Election, and does hereby declare the member from
Group 3 elected to the Personnel Board, as follows:
GROUP 3 Francis "Pete" Coker (Elected by
130 votes
out of 136
cast, being a
clear majority
at the Primary
Election)
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of August , 1982 .

COUNTY OF DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify,
in,duplicate, that we held and conducted a Primary Election of the
members of Group 3 of the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
in City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive (Outdoor Lobby Areal
on Ju]y 20, 1982 , for the purpose of nominating two
candidates for the Personnel Board Election to be held on
July 27, 1982 ; that at the close of the polls we
proceeded to open the ballot box and count the ballots, and found
the results of said Primary Election as conducted by us to be as
follows, which result we then publicly proclaimed.
That for candidates for Member of the Personnel Board to
$1 represent Group 3 , the following were nominated:
Coker, Francis "Pete" Received 13C votes
Hanna, Aldin (write-in) Received 1 votes
McFadden, Benjamin (write-in) Received 1 votes
Rhodes, Dusty (write-in) Received 1 votes
Rodriguez, Jose A. (write-in) Received 1 votes
