A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INITIATE CITY-OPERATED GOLF CART OPERATIONS AT
BAYSHORE AND NORMANDY SHORES GOLF COURSES
USING A FORTY-EIGHT (48) MONTH GOLF CART LEASE
PLAN.
WHEREAS , the City Administration has reviewed and studied
the operations of the municipal golf courses with regard to those
areas previously operated by concessionaire; and
WHEREAS , Touche Ross and Company has completed a review
of the operations of the City of Miami Beach Golf Division; and
WHEREAS , the consultant has indicated that the City of
Miami Beach would have an opportunity to increase its revenues by
initiating a city-operated cart operation using a forty-eight (48)
month golf cart lease plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City Manager is
authorized to initiate city-operated golf cart operations at
Bayshore and Normandy Shores Golf Courses using a forty-eight (48)
month golf cart lease plan.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of September , 1982.
