A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SOLICIT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
FOR THE LEASING OF RESTAURANT AND FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONCESSION
RIGHTS AT THE NORMANDY SHORES GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised and received on May 21 , 1982, for golf,
food, and beverage concessions at the Normandy Shores and Bayshore Golf Courses;
and
WHEREAS, after evaluation of the bids received in Bid 61-82 the City
Manager recommended that all bids received be rejected and that the City Admin-
istration be authorized to operate the municipal golf courses during the period
of time that Touche Ross and Company produced In analysis of the operations; and
WHEREAS, Touche Ross and Company have now concluded their review of
the operations of the municipal golf courses and have made recommendations with
regards to those areas previously operated by a concessionaire; and
WHEREAS, the consultant has recommended and identified concession
operations which should be bid; and
WHEREAS, the Administration has prepared a request for proposal for
the leasing of restaurant and food and beverage concession rights incorporating
proposal features recommended by the consultant;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That the City Manager is authorized to solicit a request
for proposal for the leasing of restaurant and food and beverage concession
rights at the Normandy Shores Golf Course.
