A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA, TO
FILE AY APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY
ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A GRANT
TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM
SEWERS AT VARIOUS PLACES IN THE CITY AND
DESIGNATING THE CITY ENGINEER,CITY CLERK
AND SPECIAL COUNSEL TO FURNISH SUCH INFORMA--
TION AS THE GOVERNMENT MAY REUEST,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
1 - FLORIDA;
Section 1; That M.N.Lipp, City Engineer, be , and he is author—
ized to execute and file an apolica.tion on behalf of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, to the United States of America for
a grant to aid in financing the construction of storm sewers
at various Places in the City.
Section 2: That " .N.Lipp, City Engineer, C.W.Tomlinson, City
Clerk end Ben Shepard , Special Counsel, be, and they are hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the
United States of America through the Federal Emergency Adminis—
tration of Public Works may reasonable request in connection
with the application which is herein authorized to be filed,
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY OF February AD, 1937,
