HIGH 'AY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-166 FORTY-FOURTH STREIT: From the east line of Collins
Avenue to the east line of Indian Creek Drive, and
COLLINS AVENUE: From the south line of Forty-fourth
Street to the north line of nighty-eeventh Terrace,
to be paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved,
to a width of forty-nine feet with a bituminous wear-
ing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base, together
with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes and
catch basins, and improved on both sides with a concrete
curb and gutter:
As said Street, Avenue, Terrace and Drive are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book 5, Pages 7 and 8; in Plat
Book 8, Page 61; in Plat Book 9, Page 78; in Plat
Book 28, Page 28; in Plat Book 28, Page 16; in Plat Book
9, Page 14, in Plat Book 21, Page 54: in Plat Book 34,
Page 4: in Plat Book 31, Page 40; and in Plat Book 4,
Page 162; all of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida,
and as said Street and Avenue are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232r and as said Terrace is named and
designated in Ordinance No. 359.
*The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the prepara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highw 1, Improvement H-166, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-166.
