HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-186 H-186
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of
the City Charter:
H-186 SEVENTEENTH STREET: From the east line
of the Alley east of Alton Road to the
west line of Michigan Avenue, to be
paved, and where heretofore paved, to be
repaved to a width of forty (40) feet
with a bituminous wearing surface on a
ten (10) inch rock base, together with
necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basin, and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street, Alley, Road and Avenue
are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat
Book 6, Page 29 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said im—
provetient and an estimate of the cost thereof, including
an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and
other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro—
ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
ctruction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,
assessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-186, and
the property against which assessments therefor may be made
for the cost thereof shall be designated as District H-186.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 31st DAY OF March A.D. 1937.
