Resolution 4067 RESOLUTION NO. 4067
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has made application to the
War Department to construct a bridge and causeway across Bis-
cayne Bay from the foot of Southeast Twenty-fifth Road to Virginia
Key and to construct certain bulkheads, dredge and fill, at Vir-
ginia Key for the purpose of creating enlargement of harbor and
port facilities in Biscayne Bay, and
WHEREAS, the plans as proposed by the City of Miami on
their application to the War Department do not in any way con-
flict with any plan for future development proposed by the City
of Miami Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE
CI`T'Y OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that we do hereby waive objections
to the granting of a permit by the War Department for the con-
struction of the proposed bridge and causeway and the enlargement
of the harbor facilities proposed, hearing for which has been
called to be held on the sixth floor of the County Court House
at. 10:00 o'clock A. M. , Saturday, August 7th, 1937.
