RESOLUTION NO._ 4.070
DISTRICT SL-13 - SANITARY SEWER LATERAL
IMPROVEMENT
SL-13
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SL-13 The laying underground of 6" terra cotta sewer
laterals as a separate improvement from the exist-
ing sanitary sewer to the line of approximately
each fifty (50) feet of adjacent property.
In Washington Avenue on the east side only, from
Lincoln Road to a point approximately midway between
20th and 21st Streets.
As said Streets, Avenue and Road are shown on plats
recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 77, and Plat Book 6,
Page 102 of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida,
and as said Washington Avenue is named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement with an
estimate of the cost, including an estimate of the cost of the ex-
penses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conduct-
ing the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against the abutting property for each sewer
lateral.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-13, and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District SL-13.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS_ 12th DAY OF August A.D.1937.
