RESOLUTION NO. 4144
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florifla,
has been petitioned by owners of property in Block 12 of Island
View Subdivision, to take steps to prevent construction in said
Block of buildings that would not be in keeping with the present
high class development, especially on the east side of Alton Road
between 18th Street and 20th Street, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council deemsit advisable to consider the
amending, supplementing, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the
regulations , restrictions , and/or boundaries as provided in Ordin-
ance No. 289, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach,
Florida, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
That the Use Regulation of the following des-
cribed property, to-wit:
All of Block 11, and Lots 1 to 8, inclusive,
in Block 12, Island View Subdivision, and Lots
1 to 5, inclusive, in Block 12A, Island View
Addition, according to plats recorded in Plat
j Book 6, Page 115, and Plat Book 9, Page 144, .
respectively, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida,
be amended so as to change the above described property from its
present Use Regulation "BB" Business Classification to Use Regula-
tion "BA" Business Classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be called
for the 8th day of December, A. D. , 1937, at 10:00 o' clock A. M. ,
in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for
the purpose as above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of the time, place and
object of such hearing be published as is provided by said Ordin-
ance No. 289.
