A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS on the 1st dayof February, 1 there w s 93 a
sub-
mitted to the City Council of said City the following proposal:
"February 1, 1939
Mr. Ben Battle
0/0 Battle & Hicks,
1658 Lenox Avenue,
Miami Beach, Florida.
Dear Sir:
You are hereby given authority to sell to
the City of Miami Beach our Lots 30 and 32, Block 1,
Fisher's Second Ocean Front Subdivision, Miami Beach,
Dade County, Florida, at the price of $16,000.00 each
with one-fourth cash on each lot on closing of the
deal, the balance to be paid over a period of three
years in three equal payments with interest at 4%,
payable semi-annually.
Due to the necessity of three Council meetings,
which will extend to about March 17th, 1938, we are
giving you this length of time to put through the sale
of these lots at the above price. It is also understood
that the City of Miami Beach is to assume all 1937 and
1938 taxes, and any liens that may be upon said lots.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said proposal be accepted,
subject to furnishing of abstract showing merchantable title of
record to date of transfer under the terms and conditions and
provisions of Section 26 of the City Charter of the City of Miami
Beach as amended in 1925.
