HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-194 COLLINS COURT : From the north line of Fourteenth
( 14th) Lane to a point seventy-two and thirty-five
one hundredths ( 72.35) feet, north of said north
line of Fourteenth ( 14th) Lane, to be paved, and
where heretofore paved, to be repaved to a width
of twenty ( 20) feet with a bituminous wearing surface
on an eight (8) inch rock base.
As said Fourteenth ( 14th) Lane is shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 56 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and is named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232, and as said Collins
Court, a new highway running in a northerly and south-
erly direction through Block 2B of Espanola Villas,
recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 145, was created by a
Quit Claim Deed dated April 27th, 1938, and recorded
in Deed Book 1883, at Page 243, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and named by Ordinance of
the City Council given its first and second readings
on April 27th, 193g.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement, and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimates , the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds , interest
during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-194, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District H-194.
