SUBJECT: North Beach Log Cabin — Recomn iendation of Historic Preservation Board
On April 10, 2018, the Historic Preservation Board discussed the log cabin structure previously
located at 8128 Collins Avenue. During the discussion, the Board approved a motion
recommending that the Mayor and Commissioners include the reconstruction and restoration of
the Log Cabin in the General Obligation Bond Program being considered for the November 6th
ballot.
The Administration recommends that the City Commission consider the above noted
recommendation of the Historic Preservation Board and provide appropriate policy direction.
