RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK OF SAID
CITY TO ISSUE DUPLICATE CITY TAX
CERTIFICATES ISSUED TO THEODORUS
BAILEY UPON THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH
HEREIN.
WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavit of G. 0. Palmer
that he has lost City Tax Certificates, as follows , to-wit:
Certificate #408, dated June 4, 1928
#428 " June 4, 1928
#318 " June 3, 1929
#262 " June 2, 1930
#285 " June 2, 1930
and,
WHEREAS, the said G. 0. Palmer has asked for the issuance
of duplicate tax certificates thereof and has signified his willing-
ness to indemnify E. B. Leatherman, Clerk of the Circuit Court in
and for Dade County, Florida, and his successors in office against
any loss occasioned by the issuance of said duplicate tax certifi-
cates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida,
That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to is-
sue duplicate tax certificates to Theodorus Bailey covering the
property described in the original tax certificates set forth in
the preamble of this resolution, upon the said G. 0. Palmer fil-
ing bond to protect the Circuit Clerk of Dade County, Florida,
against any loss that might occur by reason of the reappearance
of the original certificates.
