RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK OF SAID
CITY TO ISSUE DUPLICATE CITY TAX
CERTIFICATES ISSUED TO ELIZABETH T .
MILLER UPON THE CONDIT IONS SET FORTH
HEREIN.
WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavit of Elizabeth G.
Peckham that she has lost City Tax Certificate, as follows,
to-wit :
Certificate #73, dated August 3, 1925.
and,
WHEREAS, the said Elizabeth G. Peckham has asked for the
issuance of duplicate tax certificate thereof and has signified
her willingness to indemnify E. B. Leatherman, Clerk of the
Circuit Court in and for Dade County, Florida, and his successors
in office against any loss occasioned by the issuance of said
duplicate tax certificate ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida ,
That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to
issue duplicate tax certificate to Elizabeth T. Miller covering
the property described in the original tax certificate set forth
in the preamble of this resolution, upon the said Elizabeth G.
Peckham filing bond to protect the Circuit Clerk of Dade County,
Florida, against any loss that might occur by reason of the re-
appearance of the original certificate.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, A. D., 1938.
