BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1tIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
' Charter:
H T.9b:. 13TH STREET: From the East line of Drexel Avenue
to the west line of Washington Avenue, to be paved,
and where heretofore pavedto be repaved to a width
of thirty-nime (39) feet with a bituminous wearing
surface on a ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage and improved on
both sides with a concrete curb and cutter.
As said Street and Avenues are shown on a Plat
recgrded in Plat Book 2 at Page 81 and in Plat Book
6, age 17 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Avenues are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expensesof preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any othe_' expenses necesary and proper in conduct-
ing the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments,
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-195, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-19§.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th DAY OF June A.D.1938.
