BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .7IAEI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the city Council hereby setting, forth
its intention to :proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-197 SEVENTH-SIXTH (76) , SEVENTY-SEVENTH (77) , SEVENTY-
E I H T H(78) and SEVENTY-NINTH (79) STREETS from
Dickens Avenue to Collins Avenue; EIGHTIETH (80)
Street from Carlyle Avenue to Collins Avenue; BYRON
AVENUE, ABBOTT AVENUE AND THA.RDiNAVENUE from
Seventy-sixth (76) Street to Eighty-first (81) Street.
CARLYLE AVENUE from Seventy-sixth (76) Street to
Eightieth (80) Street; DICKEYS AVENUE from Seventy-
sixth Street to Seventy-ninth (79) Street; to be
pa.ved., and where heretofore paved to be repaved ,to a
width of twenty (20) feet with a bituminous rearing
surface on an eight (8) inch rock base.
As said Streets and Avenues are shorn on Plats
recorded in Pitt Book 31, Page 40 and in Plat Book
. 3, Page 41 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.. end as said Streets and Avenues are named and
designated inordinance 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and su,)erintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and Publication of notices and proceedings, the
preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary andproper in
conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bones as Highway Improvement H-197, and the _property against
which assessments therefor may be :rade for the cost thereof shall •
be designated as District H-197.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF July A.D.1938.
