SUBJECT: PIC Committee Motions
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("LTC") is to inform the Commission of two motions passed
by the Miami Beach Production Industry Council ("PIC") during their Thursday, April 12, 2018 meeting.

MOTION #1:
We urge the Commission to roll out the red carpet for the Memorial Day Weekend guests to enjoy our
beautiful weather, beaches and City.

MOTION #2:
We urge the Commission to only partner with and provide funding to event producers who abide by the
Special Event Permitting Guidelines and who have a track record of complying with said guidelines. The
PIC is always available to advise and review proposed special events in the City of Miami Beach.
