SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT - DISTRICT
SK -- 88 SK -- 8C
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Chester:
SK—g8 A Seven and one half (71)foot sidewalk on
the south sie.e of Biscayne Street from a
point forty (40) feet east of the east
line of Ocean lirive to a point two hundred
(200) feet east of said line of Ocean Drive
together with the necessary curbing and pipe
rail.
As said Drive and Street are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 151, and Plat
Book 6, Page 77, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Street is named
and designated in Ordinance #232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate o:" the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construc—
tion, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and aav other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided far;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-88, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-89.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th _ DAY OF July A.D.1938.
