BE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF :.`:IAM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
' Charter:

H-196 THE ALLEY NORTH OF WEST FORTY-FIRST STREET, From
Prairie Avenue to Royal Palm Avenue, to be paved,
and where heretofore paved. to be renaveddto a width
of twenty 2O) feet with a bituminous wearing surface
on an ei 'ht (8) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins,
As said Alley, Street and Avenues are shown on
a Plat recorded in Plat Book 25 at rage 30 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Royal Pal:_ Avenue is named and designated in L)rdin?nce
No. 252.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the Prepara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, le ;al services ,abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-196, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District H-196.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS24th DAY OF August, A.D.1938.
