Resolution 4383 RESOLUTION NO. 4381
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach has heretofore passed its resolution declaring the necessity
for the creation of a Housing Authority in said City and author-
izing the Mayor of said City to appoint a Housing Authority under
the laws of the United States of America and the State of Florida,
and
WHEREAS, pursuant thereto, the Mayor did appoint
said Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, that said City Council and all of the
officials of the said City of Miami Beach will endorse the said
Miami Beach Housing Authority in the sale of the necessary bonds
to cover the ten ( 10;=) percent local participation as provided by
the above named laws.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City Council
and said City officials will support the Miami Beach Housing
Authority in every way possible especially in providing for
equivalent elimination of sub-standard construction, in accordance
with Section 10 of the United States Housing Act of 1937 .
