Resolution 4396 RESOLUTION NO. 4396
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to City Manager
Claude A. Renshaw for consideration of the City Council,
a tentative proposal from Captain Cecil M. Gabbett of the
United States Coast Guard located et Jacksonville, Florida,
• for the exchange of the present Coast Guard property situated
between 72nd Street and 73rd Street, Miami Beach, for a site
to be developed in Biscayne Bay adjoining theEast viaduct
of the Miami Causeway, and
WHEREAS said proposal has been considered by this body,
together with a tentative estimate of the cost of developing
the proposed site,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that we are not at this
time in a position to consider any project involving a sub—
stantial sum of money.
