WHEREAS , pursuant to advertisement , bids for the construction
of the Dade Boulevard Fire Station have been filed by the following
Bidders:
Gaffney--Waldron, Inc.
Paul H. Smith Construction Co.
Smith & Pawley
Fred Howland, Inc.
C. F. Wheeler Co.
The Witters Construction Co.
John B. Orr, Inc,
Southeastern Construction Co.
Taylor Construction Co. , Inc,
that said bids have been duly received, opened and publicly read:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the bids listed in the preamble hereof
be filed and presented to Robert L. Weed, Architect, Inc. , Architect,
and that the said Robert L. Weed, Architect, Inc. , is hereby directed
forthwith to tabulate said bids , and at the earliest practicable
moment, report to this City Council, his findings as to the lowest
and best bid.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of December, A. D. , 1938.
