A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF EDWARD F.
WEATHERBY TO SELL TO THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH A CERTAIN PORTION OF
LOT 45 IN BLOCK 8 OF NAUTILUS ADDI-
TION.
WHEREAS, on the let day of February, 1939, there was sub-
mitted to the City Council of said City, the following proposal :
"Janus ry 28 , 1939
Mr. Claude A. Renshaw

Miami Beach, Florida
Dear Mr. Renshaw:
This is to advise you that I have given full authority
to Mr. Perry Stone, Miami Bench real estate broker, to
sell to the City of Miami. Bench all that portion of
land South of the North 60 feet of my lot legally de-
scribed as Lot 45 Block 8 Nautilus Addition as recorded
in Plat Book 8 at Page 130 of the Public Records of
Dade County , Florida for the total price of 23,750.00.
Taxes are to be prorated as of January 1, 1939. I agree
to make a forty-five day closing from date of contract.
I am selling this Property to the city in accordance with
the provision of the city charter as provided by the City
Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said proposal be accented under
the terms and conditions and provisions of Section 26 of the City
Charter of the City of Miami Beach as amended in 1925 ; that the Mayor
and City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized to execute such
documents as may be necessary to carry this resolution into effect
and that they report their acts and doings relative thereto to the
said. City Council.
