RESOLUTION NO. 4536
WHEREAS, C. F. WHEELER CO. , Contractors on the Dade
Boulevard Fire Station, has made written request under date
of May 24th, 1939, for an extension of twenty (20) calendar
days from the agreed construction time limit, on account of
additional work involved under Change, #2-A-2, Change 3-A-3 and
Change #4-A-k, also on account of labor trouble not considered
the fault of said Contractor, and
WHEREAS, said request is considered by this body to be a
reasonable request,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT THE agreed time limit on
this contract be and the same is hereby extended for a period
of twenty (20) calendar days, which will carry said contract
period through June 16th, 1939, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the penalty for non-completion
within the original agreed time limit be and the same is hereby
waived and extended to the new completion date, namely June 16th,
1939.
