DISTRICT BH-8 WATERFRONT IMPROVEMENT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
BH-8 INDIAN CREEK: A waterway in said city to be improved
with a concrete bulkhead together with the necessary
fill, from the southeasterly corner of lot 15 Indian
Creek Subdivision to the northeasterly corner of said
lot 15, as said waterway, lot and subdivision are
shown on a plat recorded in P]Et Book 31 at Page 75
of the Public Record of Dade County, Florida.
Which Bulkhead, Fill the City Council hereby deems
to be of special benefit to the following described
property, lot 15, Indian Creek Subdivision as shown
on a Plat recorded in Plat Book 31 at Page 75 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
And the total cost of said Waterfront Improvement shall
be assessed against the above described property in
proportion to the special benefits derived. -.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and
Specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Waterfront Improvement BH-8, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District BH-8.
