HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-208 41ST STREET: From the east line of Collins
Avenue to a point two hundred and forts ( 240)
feet east of said east line of Collins Avenue.
To be paved, and where heretoforeaved to be
repaved to a width of thirty nine p(39) feet
with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10)
inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins ,and improved on both
sides with concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street and Avenue are shown on a plat
recorded in Plat Book 5, Pages 7 and 8 of the
1 Public Records of Dade County Florida,and as
said Street is named and designated in Ordinance
No.232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk -clans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
pland and specifications and estimates, the rrinting and
publication of notices and proceedings , the ireparation of
bonds, interest during construetion,legal services, abstracts,etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for;and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings ,assess;
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-208,andthe property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District H-208.
