RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR

WHEREAS, Robert L. Weed, Architect, Inc. , Architect, pur—
suant to a Resolution heretofore adopted, has tabulated and con—
sidered all bids heretofore received for the landscaping of the
Dade Boulevard Fire Station , and has duly made recommendations
to this City Council, and it appearing from said recommendations
and report that Kinsman' s is the lowest and best bidder for the
landscaping of the said Dade Boulevard Fire Station, in the sum
of $1,165.00; and that this City Council , after considering said
report and recommendations and all bids heretofore filed, finds
that the bid of the said Kinsman' s is the lowest and best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the bid of Kinsman' s for the landscaping of the
Dade Boulevard Fire Station, in the sum of $1,165.00,
is hereby accepted, determined and declared to be the lowest and
best bid; however, this award shall not be effective until the
awardee shall have been notified in writing by the City Clerk of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, of such award. That upon the
awardee being so notified in writing a contract for the landscaping,
as heretofore prescribed by the plans, specifications and contract
documents, shall be forthwith executed for said landscaping.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said contract in the name of
and for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
