Resolution 4602 RESOLUTION NO. 4602
WHEREAS, this Body , acting as the City Canvassing
Board of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has canvassed
both the original returns and the corrected returns of the
General Election held on June 6th, 1939, said corrected re-
turns having been made pursuant to a certain Peremptory Writ
of Mandamus, signed by Paul Barns, Circuit Judge, under date
of August 11th, 1939,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that we do hereby adopt
the certificate of canvass made by this Body as of this date,
acting as the City Canvassing Board of said City, as the
official result of said General Election, said certificate
to be recorded in the minutes of this meeting, and we do
hereby declare Mr. Val C. Cleary and Mr. R. W. Ralston to
be elected for a term of four years and Mr. Harry M. Hice,
Mr. Herbert A. Frink and Mr. Mitchell Wolfson to be elected
for a term of two years.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August , A. D. , 1939.
