Resolution 4620 RESOLUTION NO. 4620
WHEREAS, this City has just lost one of its promi-
nent and distinguished citizens, Mr. Alpionsus L. Bowes,
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bowes has rendered memorable and effi-
cient service to his fellow citizens, and
WHEREAS, "Daddy" Bowes, as he was familiarly known
to thousands of school children, was particularly identified
with the cultural growth of our City, having served as a
Trustee of Miami Beach Special School District Number 14
for a great number of years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that we do hereby,
not only for ourselves, but in behalf of the whole com-
munity, express our deep regret at his passing, and tender
to his family and associates our heartfelt sympathy in
their bereavement .
