Resolution 4622 RESOLUTION NO. 4622
WHEREAS, WASHINGTON STORAGE COMPANY, INC. , contractors
for furnishings and equipment for the Dade Boulevard Fire
Station, has made written request under date of August 9th,
1939 , for an extension of thirty ( 30) calendar days from
the agreed delivery date, on account of certain items which
by reason of discontinuance by the factory have been re-
ordered, also because of their inability, at first to secure
acceptable upholstery fabrics, and
WHEREAS, said request is considered by this Body to be
a reasonable request,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the agreed time limit
on this contract be and the same is hereby extended for a
period of thirty (30) calendar days, which will carry said
contract period through September 10th, 1939 , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the penalty for non-com-
pletion within the original agreed time limit be and the same
is hereby waived and extended to the new completion date,
namely September 10th, 1939.
