RESOLUTION NO. 4680
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-220 H-220
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
- That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:

H-220 JAMES AVENUE FROM LINCOLN ROAD to the North line
of the alley north of Lincoln Road, to be paved,
and where heretofore paved to be repaved, to a
width of fifty (50) feet with a btiminous wearing
surface on a ten (10) inch rock Base, and improved
on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Road, Alley, Avenue are shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Seventy-seven (77)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
11 and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts , etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designaVed in all proceedings, assessments
and Bonds as Highway Improvement H-220, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-220.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF October A.D.1939.
