SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SK-95 SK-95
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-95 A five (5) foot sidewalk on the north side of
Thirty-eighth (38th) Street from the westerly
line of Collins Avenue to the easterly line of
Lot Sixteen (16) , Block Thirty (30) , Amended Map
of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach
Improvement Company, and from the easterly line
of Lot Twenty-two (22) , Block Thirty (30) to the
easterly line of Indian Creek Drive.
As said Street, Avenue and Subdivision are shown
on a Plat recorded in Plat Book Five ( 5) , at Pages
Seven (7) and Eight (8) , of the Public Records
of Dade County,Florida, and as said street is named
and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the
preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices, the preparation of bonds, interest during
donstruction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein
provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-95, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-95.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th DAY OF January A.D. 1940.
