The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform the Mayor and City
Commission of a motion passed by the Budget Advisory Committee.
The Committee approved a motion supporting the concept of adding dedicated
Miami Beach police officers at schools throughout Miami Beach. The
Committee will provide additional recommendations on funding alternatives as
the FY 2018/19 budget is further developed.
The Committee's recommendation was approved at their April 24, 2018,
meeting.
