Resolution 4793 RESOLUTION NO. 4793
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Miami Beach,
Florida, have been petitioned to consider the amending, sup-
plementing, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the regu-
lations, restrictions , and/or boundaries as provided in Ordi-
nance No. 289, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of Miami
Beach, Florida, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit :
That the use regulation of the following described
property, to-wit:
That certain tract or strip of land 105 feet
wide, being in the property formerly known as
the Polo riel ds, said tract running between
North Meridian Avenue and North Michigan Avenue,
and lying immediately north of and adjacent to
a five (5) acre tract recently purchased for
school purposes by the Dade County Board of
Public Instruction,
be amended so as to change said property from its present "RD"
Single Family District classification, to what is known as "RDE"
Restricted Multiple-Family District, as said use regulations
are described in Ordinance No. 289, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be
called for the 1st day of April, A. D. , 1940, at 10:00 o ' clock
A. M. , in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the purpose as above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place
and object of such hearing be published as is provided by said
Ordinance No. 289.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March, A. D. , 1940.
