BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is Hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-226 . BISCAYNE POINT CIRCLE, From Daytonia Road to Cleveland Road•
DAYTONIA ROAD, FromBiscayne Point Circle to South Biscayne Point
Road; CLEVELAND ROAD, From Biscayne Point Circle to Noremac Avenue ;
SOUTH BISCAYNE POINT ROAD, From Daytonia Road to Hawthorne Avenue;
HENEDON AVENUE, From Daytonia Road to Cleveland Road;
NOREMAC AVENUE, FromSouth Biscayne Point Road to Cleveland Road;
to be paved, and where heretofore paved, to be repaved, to
a width of twenty (20) feet with a bituminous wearing surface
on a seven ( 7) inch rock base .
As said Circle, Roads and Avenues are shown on Plats recorded
in Plat Book Fourteen (14) , Page Thirty-five (35) , and Plat
Book Twenty-nine (29) , Page Sixty-three (63) , of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Circle, Avenues
and Roads are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate of
the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation
of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-226, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
41 District H-226.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF March A.D.1940.
