Resolution 4836 RESOLUTION NO.
`. HEREAS, this body has been petitioned by the Miami Beach
Bayshore Company, the owner of Lots Thirty-five (35) , Thirty-six (36)
and Thirty-seven (3?) , Block Fifteen A (15-A) , Island View Addition,
as per Plat recorded in Plat Book Nine (9) , Page One Hundred Forty-four
1144) , of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, to release and
relinquish any and all rights or interest the City may have in the
southerly five (5) , feet of said Lot Thirty-six (36) , and in the
northerly five (5) , feet of said Lot Thirty-seven (3?) , by reason of
that certain instrument of easement executed by the Miami Beach Bayshore
Company under date of June 29, 1925, and filed for record under date
of July 21, 1925, in Deed Book Six Hundred Eighty-one (681) at Page
One Hundred Thirty-one (131) , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Bayshore Company, now offer to give
to the City of Miami Beach in exchange for said releases or relinquish-
ments, a new easement five (5) feet in width across said Lot Thirty-
five (35) ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the said
Miami Beach Bayshore Company on behalf of the City of Miami Beach,
as to the southerly five (5) feet of said Lot Thirty-six (36) , and
the northerlyfive ( 5) feet of said Lot Thirty-seven said Block 15-A
y—even (3?)A of said
Island View Addition, in accordance with said petition as noted above,
and upon receipt of the new easement across said Lot Thirty-five (35) , as
above described. p
