HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H•-241 ROYAL PALM AVENUE, From West Fortieth (40th) Street
to the north line of the alley north of West Forty-
first (41st) Street, to be paved, and where heretofore
paved, to be repaved, to a width of fifty ( 50) feet
with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch
rock base, and improved on both sides with a concrete
curb and gutter.
As said Streets, Avenue and Alley are shown on plats
recorded in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page One Hundred Sixteen
(116) , Plat Book Twenty-five ( 25) , Page Thirty ( 30) ,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as
said Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance No.
252.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work,
the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein pro-
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property. •
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H241, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shril be designated
as District H-241.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 8th_ DAY OF August A.D.1940.
