Resolution 4961 RESOLUTION NO. 4961
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the In-
spectors and Clerk who conducted the Primary Election held
• August 22nd, 1940, for the election of a Trustee for Group 2
of the Employees Retirement System of the City of Miami Beach,
in accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 4929, as
passed and adopted by the City Council on July 26th, 1940, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said
City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the result
of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the Trustee from
Group 2 elected to the Board of the Employees Retirement System
to be as follows:
GROUP 2: D. J. CLEARY (Elected by 46 votes out of a total
of 61 votes cast , being a clear
majority at the Primary Election. )
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25thday of September, A. D. , 1940.
