HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-235 18TH STREET, From Collins Avenue to the east line
of Block Twenty-eight ( 28) , Fisher' s First Subdivision
of Alton Beach, to be paved, and where heretofore paved,
to be renaved to 4 width of fifty ( 50) feet, with a
bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base,
and improved on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Avenue, Street and Subdivision are shown on
a Plat recorded in Plat Book Two ( 2) , Page Seventy-seven
( 77) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Street and Avenue are named in Ordinance No. 232.
The 6ity Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work,
the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conductXng the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-235, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District H-235.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th DAY OF September A.D.1940.
